יהודית בובר אגסי קפיצה לניווטקפיצה לחיפוש אין תמונה חופשית יהודית בּוּבֶּר אגסי (17 ביוני 1924 – 15 ביולי 2018) הייתה פרופסור לסוציולוגיה ומומחית למעמד האישה.

ביוגרפיה נולדה בשנת 1924 בגרמניה לרפאל בובר, בנו של מרטין בובר. בשנת 1938 עלתה ארצה עם משפחתה. בשנות הארבעים למדה היסטוריה, סוציולוגיה וחינוך באוניברסיטה העברית. בעת לימודיה הכירה את יוסף אגסי.

באותה תקופה הצטרפה לקבוצה פוליטית-מרקסיסטית, שעם חבריה נמנו יוסף אגסי, אליעזר פרמינגר ושמואל אטינגר (לימים פרופסור להיסטוריה באוניברסיטה העברית). כעבור זמן ההתלהבות מהרעיון המרקסיסטי הלכה והצטננה, וחברי הקבוצה החליטו לפרקה מרצון.

בשנת 1949 נישאה ליוסף אגסי, והשניים התגוררו בירושלים. היא המשיכה בלימודיה וקיבלה תואר מוסמך בהיסטוריה, סוציולוגיה וחינוך. בשנות החמישים נסעה עם בעלה ללונדון להמשך לימודיהם, שם השלימה עבודת דוקטורט בסוציולוגיה.

אגסי שימשה מרצה באוניברסיטאות בישראל ובחו"ל. עיקר עיסוקה במעמד האישה ובסוציולוגיה של עבודת נשים. היא פרסמה עשרות מאמרים בנושא. בין השאר, היא מנתחת את אפליית הנשים בשוק העבודה ובפוליטיקה ומציעה דרכים לשינוי. בנוסף היא פרסמה ספר מקיף על נשים בתקופת השואה.

בשנת 2008 הצטרפה יחד עם בעלה לקבוצת אזרחים ישראלים בראשות פרופ' עוזי אורנן שהגישה עתירה לבית המשפט בדרישה לשנות את רישום הלאום בתעודת הזהות מ"יהודי" ל"ישראלי". בית המשפט המחוזי בירושלים דחה את העתירה על הסף וטען כי הסוגיה "אינה שפיטה".

הוצבה במקומות סמליים, 99 ו-103, ברשימת מרצ בבחירות לכנסת התשע עשרה ובבחירות לכנסת העשרים, בהתאמה.

בובר אגסי מתה ב-15 ביולי 2018 בגיל 94. הותירה אחריה את בעלה יוסף ובנם אהרון. בתם של יהודית ויוסף, תרצה, מתה ממחלת הסרטן. עד מותה התגוררה בהרצליה.
