Prudence outlived all of her five husbands.

She first married Samuel Stow II, February 15, 1733, Middletown, CT. They had two known daughters, Prudence and Submit. Samuel died in 1735.

On August 14, 1736, she married , Middletown, CT. They had ten known children: Prudence, Joseph II, Mary Lucia, Samuel, Abijah, Simeon, Lemuel, Gideon, and Nathan. Joseph died in 1755.

On May 18, 1758, she married Nathaniel Gilbert II, Cromwell, CT. This was a short marriage as Nathaniel died in 1759. They had no children.

On July 5, 1761, she married John Gould, Cromwell, CT. This marriage was also short, as John died in 1763. They had no children.

On April 29, 1779, she married Jeremiah Goodrich, Cromwell, CT. There were no children from this marriage. Jeremiah died in 1793.
