About Pte. Alban Joseph Tohill
Son of John Tohill (1857-1935) and Sarah Anne Tohill (nee Everitt) (1861-1905) of 1 College St., Caversham, Dunedin, New Zealand. They married at St Joseph's Church in Dunedin on 27 December 1877. Died of wounds *(ex Gallipoli) at Bombay Residency Hospital, Alexandria, El Eskenderiya, Egypt. One of three brothers killed during World War I.
