About Pte. William Flowers

William Flowers was born at Pakawau in Tasman, New Zealand, on 20 January 1889. He was the son of Francis Flowers and Sarah Elizabeth Flowers (nee Lunn). During World War I William served with the Canterbury Infantry Regiment, 3rd Battalion. He was killed in action at Ypres on 22 November 1917. William was buried in the Buttes New British Cemetery.
