About Publius Cornelius Scipio Serapio

Publius Cornelius Scipio Nasica Serapio (b. c. 153 BCE), son of Publius Cornelius Scipio Nasica Serapio, was a Praetor in 118 BCE and a Consul in 111 BCE. He was the maternal great-grandson of Publius Cornelius Scipio Africanus. He was married to Caecilia Metella, daughter of Quintus Caecilius Metellus Macedonicus.

He had two children:

1. Publius Cornelius Scipio Nasica born 128 BCE married Licinia Crassa Prima or Major, daughter of the orator Lucius Licinius Crassus. This Scipio Nasica died during his praetorship in 93 BCE.

2. Cornelia Scipionis born in 125 BCE, married a man named Publius Cornelius M. f. Lentulus. With him, she had one son: Gnaeus Cornelius P. f. M. n. Lentulus
