Per his World War One draft registration card (dated 5 June 1917 in Stamford, Connecticut), Bronislaw was born on 12 January 1889 in Zarszyn, Galicia [aka Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria], Austria, Austro-HungarianEmpire. He was employed as a brass molder in Stamford. He held the rank of private in the CAC [Coastal Artillery Corps] and had served for three years. He had dark brown eyes and black hair, and was of medium height and build.
