About Pvt. Charles Jerome Warner, (USA)
Charles was a Civil War veteran, serving in the 52nd Massachusetts Infantry and the 2nd Massachusetts Light Artillery. He was the son of Samuel and Sarah of Williamsburg, and married Lydia Almina Baker 05 May 1867 in Deerfield, Massachusetts. Although he was the father of at least five children, none of them were mentioned in his obituary, which was published in the Springfield (Mass.) Republican July 9, 1929; a brother Edwin L of Chicopee and a sister Mrs. Sarah Aldrich were mentioned. His place of burial also comes from his obituary.
