About Pvt William J. Grauman
William, the son of William J. and Martha (Shaw) Grauman, was killed in an accident with a semi on Route 33 about five miles southeast of Marysville.
He was a veteran of World War I, serving in Company E, 166th Infantry, 42nd (Rainbow) Division. At the time of his death he was a member of the American Legion, V. F. W., and the Rainbow Division Association.
