133 Margulies Chajjim Löb Merc. Prot. V, Lit. M, Tern. 2, fol. 29 received, after the deletion of wholesale freedom of his deceased father Salomon Margulies (see above number 94) on 16th December 1829 a Wholesale Permit. On 7th May 1830 he applied for protocolling of the sleeping shareholder contract together with his sister Sima, married name Horowitz, of the company Salomon Margulies & comp. and the procurator of Markus M. Byk. On 25th September 1837 Chajjim Löb Margulies died possibly as a result of suicide. Resulting from the Krida balance on 30th March 1839 an application was made for the deletion of the wholesale permit and the company.
For the family see above number 94 and Chajes 1.c. to which should be noted that his wife Rosa, born Byk - possibly only temporarily - carried on the business.
