R' Wolf Ber (Zeev Dov) Schiff

Note:

A discrepancy was found in the latest edition of The Unbroken Chain regarding the identity of Wolf Ber (Zeev Dov) Schiff's first wife.

Chapter 7, page 239 says that G10 Leah, was the daughter of R' Abraham Gelernter, and that she married R' Wolf Ber (Zeev Dov) Schiff on the day of his bar mitzah, so presumably she would have been his first wife.

However, on page 182 it says that Ephraim Zalman Margolioth of Brody's first wife was a daughter of R. Haim Segal, and that she was a sister to the first wife of R. Wolf Ber Schiff. So... since they were sisters, we would infer that the first wife of R. Wolf Ber Schiff must also have been a daughter of R. Haim Segal, however, this would see to contradict the claim on page 239 that Leah Gelernter was married to Wolf Ber (Zeev Dov) Schiff on the day of his bar mitzvah.

Sheindel was the 2nd wife of Wolf Ber Schiff, as indicated in a footnote on page 182, as well as on page 240, so to be clear, the discrepancy is with regard to the identity of his first wife.
