rolferico lustig Today at 3:50 PM Dear Randy, I found an article from Alexander Putik inJudaica Bohemiae vol 42 pag 120: "Even reliable literature draws on Theodore Wehle s amateur work from 1898, which contains a great many errors, for example, claims that a certain Mendel Wehle was the father of Hersh and Ephraim. The brother, s father however was in fact Aaron Beer Meir Wehle (d 1741) who moved to Prague from the southern Bohemian toen of Wollin (Volyne) where his father, the leader of the Bohemian Jewry, Meir Hersch Horschowitz me wehle ( d 17/3/1729) is buried"
