About Rabbi Yehuda Meisner

Grave information: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/225949015/juda-meizner. Förabbi . Házas neje Schvarcz Betti

In R' Meisner's gravestone there is only information about his mother name. There is no information about his parents in his death record.
But - There is a very good reason to believe that he was a brother of Lipot Meisner who also came from balassagyarmat (Lipót (Leopold) Leibl Meisner).
The reason: Lipot's granddaughter, Borbala Berta Elisabetha Bluma Schlesinger, married Moshe Schlesinger, whose two brothers married R' Yehuda's granddaughters.
These things are not by accident. The engagement must have done with R' Yehuda Meisner. And the most possible connection is through his brother.

His father was probably called Wolf. He appears in a few censuses from 1794 to 1802 (and it suits Farkas (Wolf) Vilmos (Wilhelm) Meisner as a grandson, who was born at 1809).
