Rachel Eaton

Rachel married James June 13, 1728. She died in 1775 at age 71 and is buried beside James at West Parish Cemetery Haverhill Mass. She is the daughter of Robert Kimball and Susanna Atwood. She is buried at West Parish Cemetery in Haverhill Essex Co. Massachusetts, USA.

Note: Marker could not be found on Rachel. Originally it showed Rachel as the Mother of 8 but new information researched by the Gorman Family of Lakeville MA for Family Tree Maker shows only one child born - James Eaton May 23, 1728. It stipulates that James was the only child of his mother and tradition says that he was very feeble for many years. He married rather late in life but became the father children of more than ordinary ability. He was a farmer.

Rached first married Samuel Ayer in 1726 and had one son Samuel. Husband died in 1728 at Haverhill at age 30. She remarried James Eaton June 13, 1728. She died at age 65 in Haverhill Essex Mass. Her parents were Robert and Susannah Kimball.
