Rachel Judd Hamblin (1821 - 1865), daughter of Arza Judd (1798 - 1840) and Lucinda Abigail Adams (1799 - 1834), was born on 15 September 1821 at Johnstown, Grenville County, Ontario, Canada; she died 18 February 1865 at Santa Clara, Washington, Utah Territory and was buried 21 February 1865 at Santa Clara. She married Jacob Vernon Hamblin on 30 September 1849 at Council Bluffs, Pottawattomie County, Illinois. She emigrated to Utah with her husband and his family, arriving on 6 September 1850. She was enumerated in the 1850 United States Federal Census at Tooele, Tooele County, Utah Territory.
