WILL OF RACHAEL KING Dated June 9, 1854 Recorded Nov 6, 1865

In the name of God Amen.

I RACHAEL KING being of sound mind and disposing memory do make and ordain this as my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made.

Item 1st – I desire that all my just debts be paid.

2nd – It is my will that two hundred dollars be applied to missionary purposes in such way and to such particular objects as my Executors hereafter named may think best for the spread of the gospel in the destitute parts of this earth.

3rd – I give to MY SON IN LAW JACKSON HENRY my bay horse, and to MY DAUGHTER ELVY KING my cloathes [_____?].

4th – In the house of what ever friend it may please the Lord for me to sicken and die, to said friend I give my bed and furniture.

5th – It is my will that all the balance of my estate be divided equally between all my children.

6th – Lastly I nominate and appoint JACKSON HENRY and JOHN CHAPMAN my Executors to this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and Seal this the ninth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty-four. [Signed] RACHAEL (HER MARK) KING In presence of Z. F. Georgia Taliaferro County Court of Ordinary Nov. Term 1865 The last Will and Testament of RACHAEL KING DECED was presented in open court for probate in common form of law and proven by the oaths of Josiah R. King and Z. F. Bishop two of the subscribing witnesses to said will as follows. We do solemnly swear that we saw Mrs. Rachael King sign, seal and deliver the foregoing instrument as her last Will and Testament, that she done the same freely and voluntarily and without any compulsions, that at the time thereof she was of sound mind and disposing memory and that we signed the same in presence of each other, and of the Testatrix(?) and also saw Mrs. Rebecca C. Henry another of the subscribing witnesses to said Will, sign the same in our presence. Sworn to and Subscribed to in open Court Nov 6th 1865 Before me J. D. Hammack Ordinary. Josiah R. Henry Z. F. Bishop

Wherefore it is considered and adjudged by the ourt that this Will is duly proven and the same admitted to probate and record. This Nov 6th 1865 J.D. Hammack Ordinary
