Rachel Mead (Sept. 23, 1752 - Nov. 17, 1773), daughter of Peter Mead, granddaughter of Samuel Mead, great granddaughter of John Mead, and second great granddaughter of immigrant William Mead, said to have been born in Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut Colony.

Asserted to have married Jonah Mead (Dec. 3, 1748 - Feb. 21, 1827) on Sept. 17, 1772. He was the son of Caleb Mead and Hannah Rundle, and probably died in Greenwich. His will was dated Dec. 8, 1818, filed in Greenwich, and his estate inventory was taken by Isaac Jr. and Zophar Mead while he was still alive on Dec. 8, 1818. His will was probated a couple weeks after his death on Mar. 5, 1827.
