Zaccheus Mead (Dec. 30, 1759 - aft. 1844), son of Peter, grandson of Samuel, great grandson of John, second great grandson of William, said to have been born in Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut Colony.

Asserted to have married Deborah Close (July 6, 1758 - aft. 1844) on Jan. 12, 1780. She was the daughter of Samuel Close and Deborah Mead.

Death assertion taken from depositions to a probate concerning Enos Mead and wife Prudence in 1844. The testified that Enos and his wife were married and living for a time on King Street in Greenwich. Zaccheus testified that the two moved to New York about 1798.

Children asserted to be:

• 1. Elsie Mead (Oct. 21, 1780 - aft. 1839) born in Greenwich.
• 2. Hannah Mead (Apr. 18, 1783 - Apr. 25, 1873) born in Connecticut
• 3. Samuel Mead (Sept. 12, 1785 - Nov. 21, 1785)
