Publications: Ferdinando Pulton, 1536-1618, alias Poulton (Son of Giles Pulton, Esq., who died 1560), was born at Deusborougb in Northamptonshire, became commoner of Brasnose coll. in the beginning of Queen Mary's Reign, laid there a foundation of Academical literature, which he found useful to him afterwards, when he grew eminent in the common Law. But leaving that house before he took a degree, he went to Lincoln's Inn, studied the said Law, took the usual degrees, and became eminent for the knowledge in, and practice of, it, He was buried at St. Aldate's.
In 1570 there is mention of a George Pulton, heir of Giles Pulton.
