Rose, of Erskineville, was married to Mr. Julius Karpin, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Karpin, of Barker street, Lewisham. The bride wore a frock of satin romaine and silver lace, trimmed with silver roses and trails of orange blossoms from the shoul- ders. She. wore a coronet of or ange blossoms over a silk tulle veil. Her flowing train of silk tulle was lined with pale pink georgette. and she carried a shower posy of pink and white roses, with stream- ers of pale pink, ribbons. Miss Leba Karpin made a dainty train- bearer. She wore pale pink georg- ette to match the train and car- ried a silver basket of pink carna- tions. The two bridesmaids, the Misses Rose Karpin and Betsy Rose, wore frocks of cyclamen and blue taf- feta respectively with silver lace underskirts, draped with tulle across the shoulders and tulle bows, on the side. They carried bouquets of hydrangeas and roses to tone with the colour of their frocks. Mr. Sam Karpin, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, and Mr. Julian Rose attended as groomsman. A reception was held at the Maccabean Hall, where the guests were received by the mother of the bride, in a frock of navy crepe de chine, heavily beaded an red and steel, and the bridegroom's mother, in a frock of navy moro cain heavily beaded in red and shot beads.
