About Ralph George Geshel
U.P. Man Killed In Foundry Mishap CALUMET, Mich. (PG) - Ralph Geshel, 41, of Lake Linden, an employee at a foundry of Calumet & Hecla mining company here, was killed at 2 p.m. Saturday when he was crushed between an overhead crane and a sand elevator housing at the foundry. Authorities said Geshel was standing on top of the housing talking with two men on a scaffold repairing the elevator when he was trapped by a moving 20-ton crane. The men on the scaffold, police said, were not in the path of the crane.
