Services for Ralph Jarrett, 75 of Rt#3 Bakersville, who died Friday, Dec.21, was held at 2pm Sunday at Silver Chapel Baptist Church.

The Revs. Jimmy Steele and R.M. Cassity officiated. Burial was at the church Cemtery. Pallbearers were John English, Guy Silvers, Virgil Ellis, Lee Howell, Dan Jarrett, Jay Robinson. He was a retired employe of the Coca Cola Bottling Company where he worked for 38 years and a member of Silver Chapel Baptist Church.

Surviving are the widow Mrs Vestina Phillips Jarrett; a daughter, Mrs Betty Dale of Columbia,SC. eight sisters, Mrs Myrtle Jarrett Ellis, Mrs Retta Jarrett Gibson, Mrs Nelle Jarrett Boone, and Geneva Jarrett Robinson of Bakersville.
