Ramanbhai Veribhai Patel

Ramanbhai was born on 3rd Aug, 1926 in Undel.

He finished his elementary school in Undel and 1st year of English Medium

2nd and 3rd year, he studied in Kanisa and from 4th through 7 years, studied in Khambhat

After finishing school in 1947, he took admission in Vallabh Vidyanagar College in Science

Biology subject was hard for him and he could not continue in Science.

From 2nd year of college he transferred to Arts College. From there he finished the inter arts college and went to Ahmedabad and took admission in L A Shah Law College

But before finishing the law, he had an opportunity to go to Africa and went to Africa in July 1953 (Kampala, Uganda)

He joined the Kampala High Court as an interpreter in Uganda

Before leaving for Africa he got married to Vimlaben (Induben) the daughter of Shree Dhulabhai Girdharbhai Patel, on June 16, 1953

He went to Africa alone without his wife and his wife joined him in 1954 November. His wife went to Africa along with His cousin brother Pursottamdas and bhabhi Kamalaben.

He stayed with his cousin brothers Somabhai and Pursottamdas' family in Africa till his wife went to Africa in Nov 1954

Ramanbhai and Induben had 2 sons Rohit and Dipak born in Africa than in 1963 they decided to move back to India permanently. 3rd and 4th children born in India, Yogesh and Kalpesh.

He lived in Undel for 2 years and than moved to Khambhat. He had a Pharmacy store in India along with other business.

On the advise from his older brother Somabhai Patel, he moved to London with his family in 1986 All the children got married and have 8 grandchildren in the family, which makes the family of 18 A year before he passed away, the oldest grandchild Aayushi got married to Arpit which he witnessed the wedding and had an opportunity to do the "Kanyadan" of Aayushi. He only had 4 sons and no daughter so his wish came true by doing Aayushi's Kanyadan.

On the day Oct 26, 2016 he took his last breath and left the the family.
