Randall Kevin Davenport

Randy (Randall) Kevin Davenport was born to Kenny and Wanda Davenport on June 4, 1960 in Albany, Oregon. He lived for the outdoors; skiing, hunting and especially fishing. He was known to take his mom, dad, and multitude of friends on fishing trips and drifts down the rivers of Oregon. Randy grew up and went to school in Albany and graduated from South Albany High School in 1978. He had a very successful career of 25 years at Hewlett-Packard in Corvallis. While at HP, Randy was able to support his other passions – kids – through participation in the "Lunch Buddies" program for 12 years at Waverly School. After HP, Randy attended LBCC and graduated with honors in computers in 2007. He worked as an information systems intern at Samaritan Albany General Hospital, where he was hired after graduation. His knowledge and customer service skills made him an exceptional I.S. Tech. He had the rare opportunity to work in Albany in the same building he was born. He used to joke about life coming full circle. Randy had a generous heart and never met a stranger. He always had a smile and a wonderful sense of humor. Randy loved his home state of Oregon and its beauty and outdoor splendor. He was always there for his family and friends and will be truly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth. Survivors include his mother, Wanda Davenport; fiancé', Cynthia Sisneros; aunts, uncles, cousins, and an extensive list of friends.
