Ormerod's entries on Randle/Randulphe of Karyncham, have his two wives as Margaret, daughter of Ralph Pole of Radborn, and Anne Calveley. Boyer's Medeival Ancestors of Robert Abell calls him Randle, and says he married Margaret Davenport, daughter of Hugh Davenport, of Henbury. The Family of Davenport, names the husband of Margaret, daughter of Hugh as Randle Mainwaring of Carincham.

Randolph Mainewaring, Esq. purchased Kermincham in 1444.

His estate was probated in 1488; IPM 3 Henry VII [TH.D. Frederick Lewis Weis, The Magna Charta Sureties, 1215: The Barons named in the Magna Charta, 1215 and Some of Their Descendants Who Settled in America During the Early Colonial Years (1001 N. Calvert St., Baltimore, MD 21202: Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc.,, 1999), 98A-10B].

Randle or Ralphe Mainwaring was the third son of Randle Mainwaring of Over Peover, and Margery Venables. By charter dated 10 Henry VI, John de Kyngesley gave the manor of Kermycham, after the death of Richard de Swetenham (who had held part of the moiety of Kermycham with Kyngesley) to Randle Mainwaring, junior, his son. His son was a minor at the time, so Randle (Ralph) held the manor for his son. He died befroe 13 Edward IV.

This Randle (or Ralph) was married to Margaret, daughter of Sir John Savage of Clifton and the widow of John Maxfeld. Their children were:
