Ransom Roosevelt "Dock" Douglas

Obituary in Chattanooga Times: Oct. 13, 1977, Page A12; DOUGLAS - RANSOM, age 69, of 1815 Mulberry St., died Tuesday evening in a Dalton, Ga, hospital. He was a member of Northside Church of Christ and had worked for Fashion Cleaners for 16 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha Evelyn Logan Douglas; stepdaughter, Mrs. Bernice McClendon; stepson, James Anderson, both of Chatt.; sister, Mrs. Ora Mae Drew; brother Zura Douglas, both of Chattanooga. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the North Chapel of the Chattanooga Funeral Home with Ministers Emitt Gold, and Joe Cade officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Johnny Douglas, Randall Smith, Eddie Yourg, Wayne Douglas, Bobby Lasater, Raymond Douglas. The body is at the North Chapel of the Chattanooga Funeral Home, Highway 153, Hixson.
