About Ray Ludwig Krapf
~0bit~Ray L. Krapf, 70, a farmer and lifelong resident of the Walker area, died Sunday in a Cedar Rapids hospital. He was born January 29, 1900, east of the Walker area, and died Sunday in a Cedar Rapids hospital. On April 4, 1935, he was married to Lurah Hoover at Rowley. Mr. Krapf was a member of the Cono Center United Presbyterian church. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Basset of Cedar Rapids; four sisters, Mrs. Edgar Nothohm of Alburnett, Mrs. Forest Cherry of Troy Mills, Mrs. Leonard Altmaier of Keokuk, and Mrs. V. L. Donlea of Iowa Falls; two brothers, Carl Krapf of Troy Mills and William Krapf of Hazelton; and two step grandchildren. Services: 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Cono Center United Presbyterian Church, north of Walker. Burial: Troy Mills Cemetery.
