Obituary: RAYMOND N. LAMBERT from Kate Thomas

Raymond N. (Goose) Lambert, 70, of Glenwood Ave., died yesterday June 23, 1963 after a short illness in Oneida City Hospital.

A native of Oneida Castle, Mr. Lambert was born Dec. 3, 1892, the son of Alonzo and Florence Lambert. He was a life resident of the Oneida area. He was last employed at the American Legion Post 169. Prior to that he was employed by Oneida City Hospital.

He married Ada JONES in Oneida, July 21, 1917.

Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Miss Arleta Lambert of Syracuse and Mrs. Robert (Eleanor) Vredenburg of Augusta; two brothers, James of Utica and Daniel of NewYork Mills; four sisters, Mrs. Edwin (Arleta) Beltz, Mrs. Ruth Bickley, Mrs. Harold (Mary) Cole, all of Oneida, and Mrs. Eva Miller of Sherrill; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, 260 Main St., and the Rev. Abner P. Richard Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Valley View Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
