About Rebecca M Adams
Rebecca “Polly” Harlow Adcock, 85, of Smithfield, died Friday, December 3, 2010 at her residence. Daughter of the late Carl J. and Delia Mae Stewart Harlow, Sr. Polly was a member of the Eminence Christian Church.
She is survived by three daughters: Ramona Durbin, LaGrange, Barbara Renn, Jeffersonville, IN and Rebecca Noel Boyd, Smithfield; foster daughter: Lavinia Norris, Bedford; 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband: Donald R. Adcock; two daughters: Linda Lee Adams and Joyce Vincent; one son: Bobby Ray Adams and two brothers: Carl J. Harlow, Jr. and Harvey Lee Kinman.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 7th, at Prewitt Eminence Funeral Home. Rev Keith Oditt, Interim Minister of the Eminence Christian Church officiated, assisted by Rev Sharon Fields of Paris. Interment was in the Eminence Cemetery.
