ALLISON, ROBERT (b. probably in County Londonderry, Ireland - d. Indiana County, Pennsylvania about 1805) Scotch Presbyterian, with brothers Andrew and James (both q.v.) came from Londonderry to Philadelphia about July 1, 1750 settling in Cumberland or Bedford County, Pennsylvania, later removing to Indiana County, Pennsylvania; married in Pennsylvania 1752, Rebecca Beard, who came over on the same ship (g. daughter of Charles Stewart, "a soldier who was wounded in the hand at Battle of the Boyne");
