Daughter of Elisha Bedwell and Mary POOLE Bedwell. Adoptive mother of Stephen Bedwell, Leftridge aka Leftwich & Leftrich Bedwell, Matilda BEDWELL Ragsdale, and William Bedwell. The biological parents of these children are unknown at this time 2019. It is believed that genetically, paternally these children aren't Bedwells.

A descendant of Rebecca's son Stephen had his dna checked, and as thought, was not connected to any of the tested known Bedwell lines.  So this indicates that Rebecca's son Stephens paternal line isn't Bedwell.
