Rebecca Margerum

Until I have concrete evidence, Rebecca's relationship to the Reading family is a bit tenuous. But I propose her son, Enos, named his son Reading after her maiden name, as it appears nowhere else in the family line and these two families lived only a few miles from each other near the Delaware River. Margerum records show Enos' father, William, married Rebecca O., "out of unity" from Friends Meeting; a further supposition may be that Rebecca was married previously to a "Mr. O" and that that didn't square with the Quaker ideal? My apologies if this causes a problem in the Reading line – I'm using this as a sort of placeholder until I know more, and will remove it when/if I discover it to be factually false.
