Gibson Abt. 1802 in Barnwell District, South Carolina, son of David Gibson. He was born 1785 in NC or VA, and died Aft. 1830 in Gibson Cemetery, Franklin County, Tennessee.

Margaret would marry John Gipson/Gibson , and have Jane Gipson. Jane married Beverly Basil Owens.
They were parents of John G Owens . John , father to Elbert Gideon Owens
