About Rebecca Paine

Biography

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Ware-111

Rebecka Ware immigrated from the vicinity of Wrentham, Suffolk, England to New England with the family of Rev. John Phillips in 1638. Rev Phillips referred to Rebecca as his servant. Rebecka married Thomas Paine, a weaver and farmer, in 1640 at Dedham, Massachusetts. The were likely married by Rev. Phillips. Thomas was born 18 Jan 1612/13, probably at Wrentham, Suffolk, England. He was the son of Thomas Paine and Elizabeth Bloomfield.[1]

Thomas Paine Jr. immigrated from Yarmouth, England to Salem, Massachusetts with his family. Thomas Paine Sr., a weaver from Wrentham, Suffolk, England, boarded the ship Mary Anne at Yarmouth, England in 1637 with his wife Elizabeth and six children: Thomas, John, Marey, Elizabeth, Dorothey and Sarah.[2] Thomas bought a vessel rather than sail in another's ship.[1]
