About Regan Curtis Frost-Lawn
In the early hours of 18 January 2021, 21-year-old Nathan Gordon Frost was heard to be distressed and crying in his bedroom, causing his father Stephen John Frost to check on him. Nathan, who'd consumed a large amount of alcohol, then attacked Stephen with a pipe wrench, which he used to strike him repeatedly about the head, jaw and arm as he fell to the ground unconscious in a premeditated attack. Nathan then unfolded a large 12cm hunting knife and stabbed Stephen in the neck, severing his carotid and jugular veins and lacerating his windpipe. At this point, half-brother Regan confronted Nathan, telling him to "Get off him you mongrel". After Regan called out to his 14-year-old sister Grace, who was outside in a sleep-out, warning her: "He's got a knife." Nathan then began attacking him, stabbing him repeatedly around the back and shoulder area, as well as four times in the neck. Next, Nathan moved outside to the sleep-out - but Grace had already fled and hid nearby, from where she phoned for help. Police arrived soon after and arrested the 21-year-old at the scene.
