A kindly light who kindled in me,

The spark of courage,sincerity and devotion,

Who showed me the infinite potential of a human being

To win the battle of life.

Just as her name suggests,

She could give birth only to gems,

The six of them,twinkling and sparkling,

In their own way, as great human beings,

A role model for all mothers, daughters, wives,

Cousins, daughters-in law, mothers-in law,

Be it cooking, cleaning or sewing,

Excelling in whatever she does,

A symbol of love, peace and humility,

Of goodness,compassion and kindness,

Of simplicity,truth and generosity,

I miss her, my dear mother!
