Wiley Morgan was Reuben's stepfather. 

Reuben was already 2-3 years old when his mother married Wiley Morgan. Reuben was a justice of peace in Floyd Co.He resigned abt. 1850 and became justice of peace in Knott Co. Reuben was justice of peace and constable... he used the name Salyer for those positions.The Morgan name is the one he stayed with and probably should be the be the one used for reference.
