About Rev. B. W. Trigg
B. W. Trigg represented Rose Creek at Presbytery at Oct. 1867. In 1879 B. W. Trigg was elected and ordained as one of the ruling elders in Rose Creek Church. In Oct. 1893, Rev. B. W. Trigg and wife both died. He had been a faithful elder in the church for thirty-four years.
He and his first wife had three daughters:
- Emisetta F. (1852-__),
- Cecil Leota (abt 1855-1885), and
- Virginia A. (Jenny) (1858-1858).
He and his second wife had six children:
- Iona E. (abt 1861),
- Catherine B. (1861-1887),
- Bettie J. (abt 1865),
- William C. (1867-__),
- Martha A. (1869-1884), and
- Mary A. (1874-__).

- Rose Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church Nebo, Hopkins County, Kentucky, Covenant Presbytery, Midwest Synod. "Elder B. W. Trigg from Rose Creek went to the General Assembly in 1892. On Christmas day, 1892, Rose Creek church made up eleven dollars for ministerial relief. In the protracted meeting held, the first Sunday in August, 1893, Rev. P. A. Lyon assisted. It was an excellent meeting and resulted in a number of conversions and twelve additions to the church. In Oct. 1893, B. W. Trigg and wife both died. He had been a faithful elder in the church for thirty-four years."
