Lt.Col. and Rev.Montague John Wynyard, Coldstream Guards.
Served in rebellion in 1798 with Guards at Bramen in Sicily as Aide-de-Camp. At Vineria with Sir Henry Clinton and in Sir John Moore's retreat to Corunna. At Walcheren with Sir W.Stewart and afterwards Assistant Adjutant General Western Districts and then a clergyman, Deputy Clerk of the Closet to William IV and Victoria, Rector of West Rounton and St.Martins-cum-Gregory, York, Chaplain to Queen Victoria.
Married Jane Lascelles, daughter of General Lascelles.
