Rev. Fr. Tirso Tiongson Tomacruz

Rev. Fr. Tirso Tiongson Tomacruz is the 8th son-priest of Hagonoy, Bulacan, Philippines, also it's second priest during the filipinization of the clergy in the Philippines.

He was ordained on March 16, 1907.

He created a trustfund for the education of the future priests of Hagonoy.

By his humility, he preferred to be called just a plain priest although his stature was that of a cardinal. He shunned any promotion although he had done great service to God, to his country, and to his Holy Mother Church.
