About Rev Jacob Bradley Davis
Jacob Bradley was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church. He served in the 26th Regiment of the Kentucky Volunteer Infantry and in the 13th US Army Corps under General Thomas. He was wounded three times and served almost 5 years. He fought in the battles of Shiloh, Perryville, Stone River, Salt River, and encountered several skirmishes. He served with three of his brothers, William J., George W., and Columbus Greg.
Jacob Bradley owned and farmed 250 acres in Todd Co., KY. He probably also owned land in Hopkins Co., KY. The 1870 census shows his family in Hopkins County.
