James Archer III was reported to have been known as "Preacher Jim". When Cynthia Archer died in 1884, she was survived by only six of their 13 children (seven boys and six girls). James Archer was a minister in the Methodist church. James died at age 69-10-20 while Cynthia died at age 74-4-20.
