WOODFIN - Funeral services for the Rev. John L. Collins, 43, of Woodfin, who died yesterday morning at his home following a 10-day illness of pneumonia. Funeral will be held at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at Richland Baptist Church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

The Rev. Troy Israel, the Rev. Mr. Gibson and the Rev. Fred Pegg will officiate. Anders-Rice funeral directors will be in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers: Ralph Harris, Bill Hensley, Homer Smith, Willard Willis, Obery Penland and K. S. Rice.

Honorary pallbearers: Clarence Blackstock, Dr. B. E. Morgan, Dr. O. A. Mooneyham, Bud Hunnicutt, Sam Joner, Charlie Moss, John Lester, Larkin Ingle, T. W. Barger, the Rev. Otto Parham, John Fox and W. T. Hensley.

Flowerbearers: Mrs. Irene Riddle, Lucille Arrington, Thridis Parham, Lucy Fore, Dorothy Arrington, Mary Parham, Goldie Snelson, June Collins and Clara Mae Collins.

The Rev. Mr. Collins was a native of this county and had spent his entire life here. For many years he served as supply pastor in various denominational churches and also was an evangelist.

Survivors include the widow: two daughters, Miss Rose L. Collins and Mrs. R. C. Jarrett, of Asheville; four sons, Claude, Carroll, Rex and Tommy Collins, all of Asheville; three brothers, Herbert (Hobert) Collins, of Waynesville; Charles Collins, of Winston Salem and Thomas Collins, of Alexander; five sisters, Mrs. Elsie Snelson, of West Asheville; Miss. Edith Collins, of Alexander; Mrs. Hattie Wolf, of Buena Vista; Mrs. Jessie Davis, of Berea, KY., and Mrs. Vergie Lackey, of Alexander; and his parents, the Rev. and Mrs. J. A. Collins of Alexander.
