This Robert Hatton, father of Thomas who was Secretary of Maryland, and of Richard who married Margaret Domville who married second to Richard Banks, was rector of Lymm, Cheshire. The only thing known of his parents is that his mother's name was Elizabeth, and his father *may* have been William (based on his naming his eldest son William).
Prior to his appointment as Rector of Lymm, Robert Hatton ran a school at Frodsham, Cheshire
