Rev. Samuel Langton, Jr.

Rev. Samuel Langton, Jr. was the only son of Lt. Samuel Lankton/Langton and Elizabeth Lee. Born 23 October 1723 in Farmington, Connecticut, he also had two sisters, Sarah and Elizabeth. Per Sarah Marsh Lee's John Lee, of Farmington, Hartford County, Conn., and His Descendants (1878):

1. Samuel, born Oct. 23, 1723. Graduated at Yale College in 1747; ordained over the Second Congregational Church, at York, Me., in 1754. He died in 1794. "He was a man of talents, and a faithful preacher."
   
2. Sarah, born 1730.
   
3. Elizabeth, born 1732.
