Find A Grave Memorial

The exact location of Reverend Moore's remains is not known as it is recorded that he was buried under the alter of the old church. The meaning of "Old Church" would actually be the second structure built in 1734, and replaced in 1822.
History of St. George's Church by Reverend William Henry Moore, 1881 describes Reverend Thomas Lambert Moore's time at the church in Chapter V. He was the 5th Rector and served form 1785 until his death in 1799.
