About Rev. Thomas Bryant Smith
Thomas was married to Eva L. Bentley. He was born to William Wesley Smith and Amanda Elizabeth Carroll. Thomas was a ordained a Methodist Episcopal Minister in 1888 at Time, Illinois.
The family lived in Virden, Macoupin, Illinois in 1900, removed to Mesa and Steamboat Springs, Colorado by 1910 and 1916 where both of their sons enlisted as soldiers in WWI. The family removed to Phillips Co., Kansas by 1918 and finally to Osborne Co., living in several small communities and finally Downs,Osborne, Kansas until they died. At some point Rev. Thomas served the Lord as a Congregational Minister.
His name is recorded in the 1949 yearbook published by the National Congregational Church, Thomas died in Afton, Osborne, Kansas in 1946. It also records his full name as Thomas Bryant Smith.
Thomas and Eva had 5 children.
