First Postmaster of Fosterville, which later became the Mount Carmel Community of Hampton, Georgia. He was a Methodist Preacher and donated the land for the current County Line Congregational Christian Church and cemetery.
Son of John Nesbitt Nash (1786-1864) and Hannah Harriett Abercrombie (1786-1840). Married Elizabeth Marian Shaw (1816-1894).
