About Hannah Harriet Nash

Harriett Abercrombie was the daughter of Colville Abercrombie & Mary Ruth Lindley. Born on 2/4/1786 at Laurens County, SC.

Harriett married John Nesbitt Nash in 1804 at Laurens County, SC. Harriett & John were the parents of 12 children.

Following the passage of the Tariff of 1808 (also known as the Tariff of Abominations) in the spring of 1828, the extended family members of the Abercrombie, Nash, Babb and Campbell families relocated to Georgia & Alabama; however some did remain in the Carolinas.
