Reverend Kingsley Eugene Pease

He was a missionary teacher. Oct. 21, 1904 he was living in Straits Settlement in Singapore, Malaysia, where he was on a list of residents who were qualifed to be jurors. "Kingsley Eugene Pease, master, Anglo Chinese School; Orchard Road."

Also in his mother's Bible were dates of both of his marriages. "Tarping, Persk? Kingsley and Florence Archer married July 29, 1905"

His children were born: 1906 - Singapore 1910 - Evanston, IL 1913 - Chicago, IL 1917 - Evanston, IL

In 1909 he was in Idaho for his brother, Bert's wedding.

His father died in 1914. By the time his mother died in 1936 he was the only one of her 7 children who were still living. Her obit in the newspaper had this to say about him: "Rev. Kingsley Pease of North Hollywood, Calif...was for many years a Methodist missionary in India. He was unable to be here for his mother's funeral."

He was buried in the Valhalla Cemetery in Burbank, CA, but his marker cannot be found. A photo volunteer left 2 reports about her search for him: "Kingsley is in Lot 5, SCC 1366, Space 1. I found the section and lot marker and I believe he is unmarked as there is an empty space next to lot marker and I believe this is him as I looked in entire lot and could not find him." "I got the info from the cemetery office and could not find him. Some of the markers appear to be getting buried over time and are not being maintained. Also they have thick grass and it could be grown over. The info from the office is as follows: Kingsley Pease - section: B, lot: 1366, space:5, memorial: 1371."
