Rev Metzler Dead
Rev Noah Metzler, well and favorably known by all our people, while preaching at the Yellow Creek Church at South West Sunday forenoon, realized that he was growing weak and finally stated that he feared he was not able to continue his sermon.
He sat down and in a few minutes was unconscious.
He was carried to a nearby home, where he died at 2 pm.
He leaves his widow, one son, five daughters, three brothers, and a sister.
The funeral is being held at Nappanee today.
